1. Copyright Ownership
All photographs displayed in this online gallery are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of Andrea Dawson Photography, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Viewing, accessing or downloading previews of photographs does not transfer copyright or grant permission to reproduce, distribute, publish, edit or otherwise use the images.
2. Prohibition on Screenshots and Copying
Photographs displayed in this gallery are provided for viewing and selection purposes only. Visitors must not take screenshots, screen recordings or other captures of gallery images for the purpose of obtaining, copying, saving, reproducing or using images without purchasing the relevant photographs or obtaining prior written permission from Andrea Dawson Photography.
Visitors must not use screenshots or any other method to circumvent the gallery's purchasing process or substitute an unauthorised copy for a purchased digital image.
3. Watermark Removal and Image Manipulation
Visitors must not remove, obscure, crop out, alter or attempt to remove watermarks, copyright notices or other identifying information from gallery images.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI), editing software, cropping tools or any other method to remove a watermark, reconstruct an image or create an unauthorised usable copy is prohibited.
Removing a watermark does not remove copyright protection or grant permission to use the image.
4. Unauthorised Use and Distribution
Unless expressly authorised in writing or permitted by applicable law, visitors must not:
Copy, download, reproduce or distribute preview images.
Upload, publish or share unpurchased images on social media, websites or other platforms.
Sell, commercially exploit, edit or create derivative works from gallery images.
Supply, forward or otherwise make unauthorised copies available to third parties.
A purchased digital image may be used only in accordance with the licence or usage terms provided with that purchase. Purchasing an image does not, by itself, transfer copyright ownership.
5. Copyright Infringement and Legal Action
Unauthorised copying, reproduction, distribution or use of protected photographs may constitute copyright infringement under applicable law.
Andrea Dawson Photography reserves the right to investigate suspected infringement and to take appropriate action to protect its intellectual property. This may include requesting the immediate removal of infringing material, seeking payment for an appropriate licence, pursuing compensation or damages where legally available, and commencing legal proceedings where justified.
Where appropriate, the photographer may also seek recovery of legally recoverable legal costs and other remedies available under applicable law.
Evidence of suspected infringement, including screenshots, URLs and other relevant information, may be retained for the purpose of protecting and enforcing copyright.
6. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this gallery, visitors acknowledge that the photographs are protected works and agree to respect the copyright and usage restrictions set out in these terms, subject to applicable law.
